You should know that this drug may make you drowsy. Do not drive a car or operate machinery until you know how this drug affects you.
What side effects may occur?
Serious side effects to Generic Zyrtec (Cetirizine) are rare. Side effects that you should report to your prescriber or health care professional as soon as possible:
- dry mouth, nose, and throat
- drowsiness
- dizziness
- upset stomach
- nervousness
- excitability
- restlessness
If you experience any of the following symptoms, call your doctor immediately:
- fast or irregular heartbeat
- difficulty urinating
Drug Interactions
